Art Classes For Beginners!
Would you like to know how an unknown artist, can paint any picture he wants, plus gets his works hanging in mansion houses, and now how his paintings are bought by celebrities and given to dignitaries?
"And he did it without a studio, using basic materials and he can't even draw!"
Trev hated art at school, and was told he couldn't become an artist. He was told he should go and get a job instead of dreaming all day, but he never gave up on his dream to become an artist.
So how did I go from hating my art classes to having my work commissioned for country houses?
How could I paint a huge 6 foot high, military style painting like that you can see in the picture below, having never done anything like that before?
Am I an artistic genius? No of course not, but I have a method I use for any painting I do. Whether its a portrait, a still life or a large scale military scene.
I have been painting for at least 40 years, and obviously I have picked up many skills, tips and tricks. I have been on many courses and read many books, and I will tell you something about all of them.
They often try to make the easy seem difficult.
No I don't know why. Honestly, painting is easy, my two year old granddaughter can paint. She picks the colors she loves and paints them.
Artists and teachers often try to make more of art than there is, they want you to believe that they know something you don't. That they are somehow superior to you.
Painting is a skill, just like driving a car, working a computer, and its a skill you can learn and practice. Of course some people do have a talent for it, but painting is all about painting what you see.
Get to the point Trev!!
OK having said that I am not going to tell you that my way is the only way, that I am the new oil painting guru. What I will say is that I will try as best as I can to pass on my knowledge to you.
I have produced a set of videos showing you step by step how I do one of my paintings.

The DVD set last nine hours, that how much information there is to give you, no 55 minute instruction on painting apples, no e-book so you can't see how its done, you watch over the shoulder of an artist who explains every step.
It's like learning how the old masters did, you stand and watch as the artist shows you the techniques, the way to paint, the materials he uses and why. Art Classes have never been so much fun.
Plus! You get the email address of the artist to contact him direct! You want help? Not sure why your painting isn't working. You can send him a picture and he will actually respond to you!
